Dark beer with artificial chocolate aroma and coloring. Awful taste, overwhelmingly dominated by the cheap, fake chocolate notes, any other aroma or taste is completely suppressed. Couldn’t finish the bottle.

33cl bottle: best before Feb 2013, poured into a tumbler on the balcony of my holiday apartment in ’Praia da Rocha’ in July 2012. Dark looking with a thin head that didn’t hang around. Burnt chocolate malts in the nose with liquorice, coffee and earth arriving in the unpleasant taste. This is not a good beer: thin bodied with ingrediants just thrown together without an once of thought.

Bottled at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Very dark brown, no head. Aroma of chocolate sauce. Super sweet with clean hard moutfheel and medium body. Aggressive fake chocolate flavour. Heineken meets Southern Tier :-(

Is it possible for a beer to be stupid? If it is then this is a stupid beer. In a country that is at the edge of the craft beer revolution, somebody has shoved essence of cocoa and a lot of sweet stuff into a beer that is too flabby to defend itself. This is as close to abuse that brewing gets. It is a disgrace.

Bottle. Flat looking black beer with a very obvious chocolate milk shake aroma. The flavour is far too sweet (almost pure sugar) and chocolate milk shake like with a yeastyness about it as well. Overall a very difficult beer to drink due to the sweetness of the chocolate flavour.

Bottle at a supermarket in Lisbon. Aroma and apperance are ok. Taste is too similar to chocolate for me. Not really a beer for me...

Bottle 330ml.

Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, chocolade, dark chocolade, dark milk chocolate .... Flavour is heavy sweet with a long duration, chocolate and chocolate, chocolate cake, cacao powder, light roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110731]
