3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not bad! Nice thick creamy head, and the expected aroma of roasted grain, not uinlike any Dunkel/Schwarzbier. Flavours are roasted malts, charreds and a touch of chocolate. Very much away from any fruitiness. But the body is nice and creamy. Much better than many watery Schwarzbiere around.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mini bottle at home in London - huge thanks to Colin for hooking this up. Pours clear brown with a frothy, light tan cap. Nose holds toasted bread, light earth, cocoa. Light sweet flavor with more toasty bread, soft milk chocolate, brown bread, faint brown sugar, touches of tobacco and charcoal. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with light roasted malts, burnt toast, mellow earthy bitterness and hints of baking cocoa. So so.
