UPDATED: AUG 10, 2013 A fantastic pale lager - fruity, malty and enrichened by a delicate aftertaste of finely balanced sweetness and hoppy bitterness.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2014 Can from the Regal (JDW), Cambridge. Deep orange with a small to medium white head. Smell - ugh. Urine, malt, sour lemon and must. Taste is an improvement. Bitter and sulphurous with a corn syrup sweet finish. Pleasant enough body but this is all around bad. Didn’t even come close to finishing the can.

Big thanks to Andrew from work who stole some of his Portuguese father inlaws brew for me. Pours golden with white head. Nose is light malt and grass. Tastes of small malt, grass, grainy, light herbal, and semi sweet finish. Moderate bitterness. Drinkable and not half bad for the what it is. 70th county tick boo ya!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Faint malt aroma. Almost no head with a clear deep amber color. Kind of mild malt caramel taste with some sweetness. Faint sourness in the finish but is very drinkable. This was a personal nod to my Portuguese heritage.
