Aroma: grain, bread. Appearance: clear gold, medium, frothy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: malty sweets coming up, yet remains mainly bitter. Overall: boring Pale Lager, but does its job in the hot Vietnamese weather. Bottle from random corner shop, HCMC.

minutemat (1823) - Ford, Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2014
330ml bottle from Tesco, Shrewsbury. Pours gold with small bubbly head. Sweetcorn aroma. Taste is rice, sweetcorn, light malt, easy drinking but its rice element gets a bit off-putting. Not terrible, but not great either.

eduardovl (929) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014
330ml bottle served in a Weizen glass. A: Pours a pale yellow crystal color forming a ridiculous white bubbled head. Retention is ridiculous and no lacings are left S: Horrible smell of rice and corn. Flowery hops trying to give it some appeal... useless T: Terrible as the nose. Sweet grains upfront. Strong notes of rice and corn. Slightly hoppy bitter end M: Light body. Medium to high carbonation. Adjunct malts faint hoppy bitter aftertaste O: One of the worst things I’ve ever drunk [ BA Review @ 11/20/2012 ]

ajnepple (2438) - Conifer, Colorado, USA - SEP 29, 2014
Bottle from Frank’s Liquor on Alameda. Yellow, clear appearance with a white head. Pale malts, off-notes, corn and rice. Pretty bland with a light, thin body.

Cimbasso (194) - - SEP 23, 2014
Golden colour with very thin white head. Light carbonation. Not much in the way of aroma, just a hint of sweet malts. This beer is extremely light, similar to other Asian rice-based beers. Quite a sweet taste with very little taste of hops to provide any bitterness. Very short finish and rather watery taste. Possibly quite drinkable in a hot climate with spicy food, but otherwise not very interesting.

From historic notes. Bottle from a shop in Chinatown. Pours a pale yellow colour with a small white head. Grassy aroma along with sweet malts. Quite thin, average carbonation.
