An international type lager that is drinkable and relatively herbal. It certainly has all the contents that a beer needs, but lacks anything special.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Columbia, SC. Aroma- light aroma of corn and malt Appearance- The beer pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Taste- Has a slightly off taste of rice and grass, not horrible Palate- A light bodied beer with moderate carbonation Overall- An OK beer, that is made for hot weather.

0,33l bottle. Pours golden color with no head. Smells of bread, cereal and grain. Tastes of bread, sweet cereal and straw. No aftertaste. The only beer I had with added E-s (E300, E223, E224).

Gangstergafje (274) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - JUL 16, 2015
The beer has an ordinary pilsner look: pale, golden yellow, very little rough white foam, clear as water. The smell is nice. There is a refreshing sour hop note. A little fruit as well. The taste is not bad. A little bready however. there is not more to say. Just a good pilsner.

It’s hard to rave about this beer. It’s a carbon copy of just about every international pilsner style beer and while I am enthused about finding something exotic to try, I am left cold. <muttered swearing>

Pale golden. Plain aroma as all lagers, tastes of rice, very mild, just to water down food. Low average.

Pale Lagers aren’t really supposed to be flavourful so I’m not sure why they get so much hate. Certainly not great but not awful... Clear straw pour. No head or real aroma. Flavour of wheat and rice. Fizzy. Has a metallic aftertaste.

ALLOVATE (2621) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 20, 2015
Drank more of this in Hoi An and sister An Hoi than I found in Saigon. Tasting from the Red Gecko, backstreets of An Hoi - A restaurant I highly recommend!
Straw gold and bright with soda-pop carbonation and a loose, fluffy white crown. The aroma first bursts with boiled cabbage, overboiled eggs and metal shards but this fades quickly to reveal soft, summer grain, toasted rice, lemon pepper and grass. On the palate it is sweet and malty - I sense a theme going with Vietnamese lagers, as sweet as their delicious coffee. Musty, minty and slightly metallic back-end with a peppery, leafy hop finish touched off with more sweet malt. Body is light and uncumbersome in the finish with moderate carbonation that is persistent. Worked well with the spicy food of central Vietnam. Not too shabby overall. (45cL, Hội An, Quảng Nam Province, Vietnam)
