2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Light golden with small head. Pale malt and dusty hops, very similar to the other local lagers. Unoffensive just boring and should be served very cold to be remotely enjoyed. Blah.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
bottle, at an Asian restaurant ’round the corner. Clear golden colour with a small (rather tiny) white head. Fruity-sweet nose. Malty with a fruity toch (apples), marzipane, dusty hops and a touch of alcohol. Not brilliant but quite ok to wash down, err.. I mean accompany the spicy food.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Had a bottle. Poured a light, gold-yellow with a thin white head. Smelled of corn and malts.Tasted sweet - like honey - with mild malt notes but few hops. Felt fairly good to drink, but not great. A so-so beer overall.

perfectly serviceable and fruity. smoke character seems to have been removed from these brews and for good reason. i like to eat after a couple and beers like this are my favorites particularly in the summer.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a thin fizzy head. Aroma of sweet grains, corn, rice, slightly astringent wine like character. Taste is rice, corn, bread, sweet malts, vanilla, fruity notes. Watery, thin bodied. It seems a little bit trashy but there are some interesting things in there as well. Overall not too terrible.
