I had this at my local Vietnamese restaurant and I enjoyed its flavor. It had a solid amount of carbonation and wasn’t watered-down. It was grassy and somewhat sweet, but it paired well with the Vietnamese dishes, especially the cilantro and bean sprouts.

Yields a golden, clear color, with a decent sized, froth head. Smells of straw with a slightly funky hint to, blending into toffee malts. Has a lively, bubbly carbonation with a light, refreshing body to it. Tastes of sugar coated wheat, which reveals more malts after the swallow. Finishes clean, watery with a caramel malt aftertaste. Typical industrial lager, with no hops to speak of, which could balance the malts, leaving the taste of this pretty uneventful.

Bottiglia.

Single 355 ml bottle from Real Canadian Liquorstore, served in an old-school Molson Light-labeled pilsner glass. Pours a light golden straw hue with copious streams of rapid carbonation and just a thin film of head. Rice over other grains, apple juice sweetness, grassy, woody hops, and mild skunk (despite this being in an amber bottle) on the nose; faint but inoffensive adjunct lager-ness with noticeable minerals that reminds me of Tsingtao or an NA German pils. Watery as water and just as drinkable. I’d probably prefer this by a hair’s-width over any popular but stinky cerveza...I’m weird like that. Dull stuff that fits the bill for when you want a dull beverage, or as an extinguisher for fiery Asian cuisine.

355 ml bottle at Good Morning Vietnam in Copenhagen. The lager poured an attractive clear golden color with a white foamy head. The head dissipated quickly. The lager has a medium body with average carbonation. Not much special, just an ordinary lager, yet very drinkable. Smooth finish mostly sweet malts no bitterness balance.
