Dull gold. No head. The aroma is a little bit appley. Soft, flat body. Not much hop and more cereal than malt. Poor balance but all round an unimpressive brew - the middle one in the Saigon line.

Green bottle, cafe in Hanoi. Gold beer with lots of rising bubbles. Aroma is eggy, sulfuric with unmalted grain. Smooth palate with low carbonation. Mild flavors. A lot of lingering sweetness. Not bad, not good.

Green bottle. Clear golden with a whispy white head that slowly diminished. Malty and citrusy aroma and flavours. OK bitterness but short finish. Less than inspiring.

Brought to me via a friend from Vietnam. This was the best thing she brought. A step up from a regular lager, but certainly nothing special.

Had this with goat brain soup in Ho Chi Minh City. Not horrible. Golden color with a white head. It’s gotta be cold though!

Bottle at the room in Hanoi. Clear yellow - white head. Arome: Citrus, straw, hay, light egg. Taste: Cardboard, hay, wet hay, citrus cest (like biting the bitter white part of the cest), lime, lemon, grape. A bit unpleasant bitter finish. Rather high carbonated.

A refreshing beer while in Vietnam, best served chilled, and with ice. Can be readily found, and is one of the better beers.

Bottle 45cl. Poured pale gold with a poor white head that quickly fades. The aroma was a little like a fruity white wine - cool grape, melon though enhanced by a definite alcoholic taint. The flavour too was fruity, with a little malty alcohol, not all that pleasant, something that lingered in the aftertaste. Watery palate. Average - clashing tastes.
