2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2016 Pours clear golden. Aroma is a bit uninviting - old cloves, sweaty leather, musty fruits from cellar. Also some malts and sweets. Taste gives a surprise - honey, sourness, fruits. Light to drink and even after stays for a while. Not bad lager at all.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle in Osaka. Light, fruity, citrus aroma. Ok malt, not very special but refreshing and fruity with lots of citrus. A bit of cardboard takes away, but just a bit. Light, bubbly, and good for hot climates, I suppose. Better than expected.

This is Saigon Beer’s attempt at a Premium beer, and it is much smoother, and with the extra alcohol there is more substance to their bland ingredients.

Can from a shop in the old quarter it is a clear gold with a thick white head. The nose is sugary sweet grains - kind of gross and cloying. The taste is sweet grainy hay and sugar with a very mild biscuit & hop character. Better than the nose. Meh ok for a macro I guess.

330ml bottle served in a goblet. Standard filtered Lager face: clear golden yellow color forming medium white head with low retention. Sweet grains in the nose. Adjunct malts and cardboard. Notes of grassy hops. Taste follows the nose. Slightly sweet upfront. In overall, a dry taste with medium to low bitterness. Cardboard. Light body. Calculated carbonation. Boring as expected.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at Le Pub, Hanoi. The aroma is cardboard malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light hoppy bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Served cool and it hit the mark in Asia but it’s no more than a simple lager with little flavour.
