Pours a very dark brown.black, near opaque, lovely reamy off white head.
sweet caramel and dark fruits aromas,
alcoholic warming over compex malt back ground.
Hope to see more big beers available at this fine establishment.

Aug 13, 2006 Dark body, almost black with ruby tinges and a medium size light tan head. Burnt characters on the nose also in the taste, some tar, a little sticky, honey and cinnamon, caramel late in the peace, medium to full body and the alcohol is hardly noticeable, until to late. Served to cold, have 2 or 3 but that is enough.
