3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 BarossaLuke (498) - AUSTRALIA - APR 28, 2013
Very clean beer, light hop aroma with light maltiness and crystal malt. Flavour is clean and has well balanced bitterness with a light-med palate. I prefer a bit more malt character to an amber personally but not a bad beer.

From a 345ml bottle. Copper bronze pour with thin off white head. Nose and taste is largely sweet caramel crystal malts with a mild floral hop bitterness. Lightish body. OK but, once again for this brewery, a bit too sweet for me.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Davros (1484) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 20, 2012
Pours deep amber with a small head.
Nose shows soft vegetal notes, caramel and faint nutty notes.
Pretty plain flavours. A bit of caramel and nutty malt but other than that just grainy malt.
Body feels watery.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mkel07 (2340) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 19, 2012
330ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s . Carries a nice nutty caramel aroma that a good amber ale should. More copper than amber in colour and has a decent sized head of soft foam that collapses to leave a level head. Light in the mouth and goes down easy with a nutty malt flavour. I was a bit skeptical about this beer but it is well worth a try.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Bif (1023) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Bottle- Pours a clear dark amber color with a decent head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of citrus and mild malt sweetness with a bit of grain. Taste of citrus and mild malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, smooth but a bit shy on flavor. Decent drinker, a non-offrnsive beer that is quite tame.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ALLOVATE (2105) - Butler, AUSTRALIA - OCT 27, 2012
Thinly looking in the glass and headless like all the beers of this range. Deep, russet copper in body and bright as bright. Salted caramel, fresh baked white bread, dried orange rind and pepper on the nose atop a musty liquor note. Adequate body, relatively dry and nutty with a dominant malt presence. Low hops offer just a little hint of herbal spice to the aftertaste. Bready, burnt toast linger with a hint of orange rind. Not much here! (33cL, BB 21/09/13, BWS Quinns Rocks)
