COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Bold aromatics of citrus, grapefruit, ripe mango and pine, hallmarks of the IPA style. Speciality malt sweetness and syrupy, piney hop notes balance to create a smooth, satisfying brew.

Pours a clear amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is malt, grapefruit, citrus, pine, fruits and hops. Taste is medium sweet of fruit and citrus leading to a hoppy finish. Pretty decent effort.

Bottle from Dan Murphy’s. Aromas of caramel and grass. Bittersweet taste, with long length. Very well balanced.

BB 24/08/2014. Poured a slightly translucent golden amber with a one- to two-finger white foamy head that retained OK and laced with clingy spots. High carbonation with medium to large bubbles. Aroma of citrus hops. Taste initially of fairly sweet caramel followed by slight grapefruit and a good hops tanginess. Taste, while strong, is not as intense as the aroma led me to expect. Medium body. Slightly bitter finish. A good example of an IPA that went down well.

Gold slightly cloudy pour with a creamy white head. Smells of peaches, grapefruit; tastes pretty much the same. Very little bitterness. A little weak for the style but not bad

From 640 ml bottle. Pours a clear copper amber with a substantial and lasting white head and lively sparkle. Aromas of lemon, grape skins, crusty bread and a touch of pine. Taste is quite subdued compared to the nose. There’s some sweet malt at the front before some lemon zest bitterness comes through in the mid-palate. However, that washes away quickly to finish with some gentle fruit (grape juice?) at the end. Quite a refreshing beer, but not really typical of an IPA.

ALLOVATE (2381) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 18, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2013 A hint of burnt toast and fresh mown grass mars slightly amidst a tingle of overly ripe tropical fruit and pinewood on the nose. Looks good even with chill haze evident. Big, rocky white crown held proud atop a deep amber body. Rough, tannic malt, light smoke, peanut husks, butter, all predominant on the palate. Fruit, either esters or hop contributed are muddled and lost. Lightly bitter - hoped for more. Not much length and dry. Tangy, puckering sweet/sour malt profile builds as it warms. Next!? (64cL, BBE 06/14, Dan Murphy’s Currambine)
