355ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a medium, frothy head. Aroma is bready malt with some astringent orange and lemon. Taste has a little soapy lemon and bready malt. A bit boring.

Bread and grain malts, biscuit and caramel, lightly fruity. Clear, dark gold, medium, creamy, white head. Lightly fruity, grain malts continue, light bitters in the finish. Unremarkable APA, a bit malty as well. Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Bath.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours bright orange with rapidly dissipating head. Aroma treacly, with heavy maltiness and some citrus but overbearing sweetness makes it rather cloying.

Bottle from ye big global retailer. Appearance - bright orange like lucozade. Big fluffy head. Nose - pine and toffee. A bit dirty and earthy. Taste - citrus and toffee. Again a but dirty. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a dry earthy finish. Overall - the nose gives hope but it slides off the cliff after that. Amazing how the massive retailers despite their wealth are unable to persuade very talented brewers to sell their soul and brew for them.

Hazy brown with scummy head. Highly carbonated aroma. Sweet and citrusy, with an underlay of hoppy bitterness. Short palatte, a bit astringent on the end.

Better than expected given the cheap price and low scores. Pours clear and golden amber with creamy white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, caramel, with a metallic edge. Some Cascade in there, but short of the better APAs. Malty, quite sweet, but thin and lacking body for the ABV. Much better when it warms up a little and the aromas start coming through stronger.

A real nasty flavour. Definitely unlike any APA I’ve ever tasted. All round a very poor ale, with delusions of grandeur.

Bottled. Ambery golden colour with a small head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some mild rubbery and grainy notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some earthy and herbal notes along with mild grains and some cooked vegetables as well. APA yes, but feels kind of half hearted and cheap.
