Pours clear gold with a lasting white foam. Nose is sweet caramel/toffee upfront and slight grass and citrus on the end. Flavor is again sweet with a quite intense grassy bitterness on the finish. My housemate summed it up perfectly, a bit like Sam Adams Boston Lager.

355ml bottle. Light lemon aroma. Cloudy bronze in colour with decent white head. Grain and pepper flavour with some citrus hop notes. Medium body. Mild bitter finish.

Better than expected given the cheap price and low scores. Pours clear and golden amber with creamy white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, caramel, with a metallic edge. Some Cascade in there, but short of the better APAs. Malty, quite sweet, but thin and lacking body for the ABV. Much better when it warms up a little and the aromas start coming through stronger.

A real nasty flavour. Definitely unlike any APA I’ve ever tasted. All round a very poor ale, with delusions of grandeur.

Bottled. Ambery golden colour with a small head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some mild rubbery and grainy notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some earthy and herbal notes along with mild grains and some cooked vegetables as well. APA yes, but feels kind of half hearted and cheap.

Lively and clear amber beer with a thick foamy head. Light hoppy citrus smell. Flavour is a touch underwhelming to be honest. It starts off promising: hop, light fruits (apple, perhaps) along with the zesty citrus but it kind of peters out into nothingness. It’s not watery as such, just the taste doesn’t hang about for long.

16.1.2015. Aroma of raisin caramel, somehow impure. Taste is similar, sweetish. Something tastes artificial.

Amber to gold with white head. Some hoppiness on the nose when opening, nicely fresh. This leads to a fairly sweetish, fruity beer, peach and avocado notes perhaps, some sweetish pear

A nice, crisp, hoppy American pale and great value as sainsbury's do the import leg work.

Bottle. Pours copper in colour with medium head. Aroma is hops and malts. Dissapointing palate. Taste is citrus hops.
