Waitrose Spanish Cerveza bottle from Waitrose, Hexham. Pale golden coloured with a grassy and toffee flavour followed by a smooth, creamy malty and bitter finish.

Sampled as Waitrose Spanish Cerveza. Typical lager appearance and mildly malty aroma. Quite full malty taste, sweetish. Not much bitterness. Not bad, but rather bland.

Pours clear yellow with moderate bubbling which holds a thin white head. Smells earthy, organic, and like barnyard dirt. Sip starts with a bite, turns a little sweet with trace bitterness and ends bubbly. Interesting for the first few sips then the honeymoon wears off.

As Marks & Spencer Spanish Lager. Pale yellow colour, bubbly white head. Aroma of grassy hops. Flavour has grassy hops, lager malts. Slightly sweet.

I cant really complain here these were 10 boittles for £3:99. Aroma minimal though typical lagerish with maybe some sweetness. Taste is general lagerness with a dryish finish, nothing offending but what i expcted basicly.

Co-Op Spanish Premium Lager (Bottle): Light gold with a lasting white head. Very faint malt aroma with a touch of pond water. Suprisingly refreshing and innofensive lager flavour. Mild malts, with almost a hint of spicy saaz! Thin in body, but not too bad.

rauchbier (3808) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2004
Bottled. Gold, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Traces of malt and vague chemical notes in the nose, slightly sweet and starchy in the mouth and short and forgetable in the finish.
