3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Pours clear straw colour with a small head that dissipates to nothing. Mild grassy and slightly soapy aroma. Some floral and herbal flavoirs with some honey. Certainly more focus on the hops than in the vast majority of lagers with a more bitter finish too. Pretty enjoyable, I could drink a fair bit of this.

at first pour i thought someone put water in my beer bottle;this pours extremely light!
there is nothing wrong with this beer,it really is not bad,but at 1 pound 89p...there are just too many much better lagers at a better price point!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle: BBD Mar 2014. Poured into ’Veltins’ badged tulips just after Andy Murray won the Wimbledon mens singles on 7 Jul 2013.
Usual lager/pilsner look: golden, bright and clean. Thin white head on each glass.
Hop nose and taste with a malty overtone: semi-sweet, yet with enough hop content to keep the beer dry and refreshing.
OK and a bit different to most lagers.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Nice hoppy nose, lemony, dry, grassy. Light bready malts. Ale-like. Deep gold, slightly cloudy, with lace. Light to medium malt flavor, very grassy hops, some citrus, nice bitter finish. Bready. Tasty stuff and flavorful for 4.1%. I could drink a lot of this. A bit light bodied, as one would expect. Dry and refreshing, as the bottle says.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from the Cromwell Road Sainsbury’s. Pours golden amber with some white bubbles. Not getting much nose. Med body. Flavor is a little bready, and I can imagine some hop. It is fairly dry, but not getting significant bitter. Fresh and zesty? Really? It does have a certain kick, and it’s drinkable. But?

Sehr milder Antrunk mit geringem Hopfen. Milde Bitterkeit, süffig, harmonisch. Passend hopfig-bitterer Ausklang. Gelungen! 10/11/11/11/10/10

2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma 7? It doesn’t smell of anything at all. So does that mean it must get 0? I’ll give it 1. Taste not so irrelevant but not that interesting either. Does what you’d hope given what it is and who has put their name on it. Ok.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Refreshingly refreshing. Subtle soapy flavour. Is it zesty? Not sure. I’ll check...hmmm, a bit. I wish I’d been named after someone inspirational. I was named after an off licence, (they didn’t like Peter) which is probably appropriate if a little depressing.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 mL bottle from Sainsbury’s into a pint glass at home. Almost clear, golden, short lived head. Nice fresh and zesty hop aroma. Crisp, citrusy, almost a golden ale. Not bad for a lager.
