3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bhensonb (9092) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 17, 2013
Bottle from the Cromwell Road Sainsbury’s. Pours light amber with a slight white head. Aroma is floral over light caramel. Med body. Flavor is light caramel with some bitter hop that seems citrus with a little floral tagging along. It is classically bitter. My tongue says that to me. In the bitter finish the malt becomes a slight roast. IPA? Pretty tasty whatever. (just noticed this is an ESB - that fits much better than IPA)

Dark golden colour. Aroma is lightly floral and a bit fruity. Flavour has initial malty taste. Some hop fruitiness, a bit peachy. Overall there’s a metal taste ruins the beer’s finish.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Beesbeer (358) - WALES - FEB 6, 2013
Not very complicated but very serviceable. I enjoyed light floral hoppy top notes, with a little bit of a grassy ending.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bdunhill (197) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 29, 2013
For a generic store brand beer this IPA has all the qualities that one should. With a smooth and fruity flavor and bitter palate. It appears light brown with a small head and has a nice smooth aroma to boot!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rune (6356) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 3, 2012
500ml bottle from the taste different series at Sainsburys. Shared with Finn. Clear copper coloured body. Film-type layer leaving spotty lacing behind. Malt-fruity nose. Modest taste of caramel malts and citrus fruits. Smooth bittersweet tail. Soft and clean in the mouth. Refreshing (hotel room, London, 06.11.2012).
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 kerolasa (409) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2012
Looks and smells like most of the ales. Taste is not as bitter I would like it to be. There is a little more hops than in a typical super market lager, but othervise this goes to that gategory. Mostly boring, which is better than bad.
