2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dark straw. Slight off-white head. Plenty of lacing as it falls. Smells of dish soap and tea. Tastes like a hoppy tea. Taste is better than the aroma. But not by much. Pretty bland. Finishes a little dry with no bitterness to find.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A faint whiff of Burton snatch, some dry sulphur, mid amber-orange appearance. Reasonable tang, decent body and flavour, some orange and biscuit late on.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle poured into a pint glass. Honey gold with two fingers of thick creamy white head. Aroma is piney hops. Initial flavor is rather bland. The hops begin to shine through in the medium-lasting finish. Palate is a bit thin and watery but finishes kind of sticky. Overall, this is an easy drinker, not unpleasant even if it is a bit boring. Not a bad choice for introducing an IPA noob to the wonderful world of hops (even if ratebeer calls it an ESB).

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear amber, plenty of bubbles/head.
Faint aroma, light citrus.
Bitter hops rather than grassy IPA style, more similar to US lagers.
Crisp and bitter.
Decent palate if a little flat compared to appearance.
