Hmmm. This seems like a passable all night drunk festival beer, but only because of its inoffensive and immature taste. It was a little forgettable, but I like the bottle design I guess. What else? Didn’t really taste like a dark ale I thought, no coffee or liquorice that I noticed...

I have fond memories of Badger beers from holidays in Dorset (apart from the reluctance of bar staff to use Hall & Woodhouse beers in shandies - any decent barperson should be able to pull a shandy using real ale). This metallic brown and watery drink, despite a pleasant warm after taste, has more memories of Torremolinos than Lulworth Cove. Brewed for the UK supermarket chain Sainsburys.
