250ml bottle at 4.8%. Pours pale gold with a medium head. Aroma is grassy and minerally. Taste has a lot of mineral character with a little grass on the finish.

Snobs. This is pretty good you know. Ł3.50 for 8 bottles, bit of malt, crisp and dry. Far better than your Peronis and San Miguels. I’ve found my summer top up.

Stubby green bottle from Sainsbury’s. A clean, refreshing pale lager with sof tbiscuit malt and just enough hops to provide bite and a pleasant finishing bitterness. Not a great beer, but certainly drinkable, and better than the average global pale lager.

Perfectly average beer good for summer parties etc. obviously doesn't compare to any craft beer of choice but you can't complain at 8 bottles for £3.50. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

25 cl bottle, Sainsbury’s, Sheffield, UK. Not as pale as I thought it would be for the price. An actual aroma of lager, some sharpness of hops with a peppery sweet finish. Maybe a keeper for really hot summer days.

25cl stubby from Sainsburys. Best before 27 December 2007. Consumed in January 2010. Styled as a French beer but actually made in Germany. Gold with some odd floaty bits in suspension. Rather papery aroma. Surprising amount of remaining hop bitterness. Not too compromised by the age. Doubt it would have been much better when fresh.

Bottle 25cl. Pours a good dark golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is very yeasty. The taste is very clean with a hint of bitterness. The finish is very dry.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Clear light golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grassy, bit metallic. Flavour is grassy, watery, not skunked. Ok drinkable.

Not too bad on the chemo front but affordable. Gift from Dom at ABL, light Amber pour ppb
