COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Medium dry. Available in 500ml bottles at Sainsburys supermarkets as part of their Taste The Difference range.
Produced in France especially for Sainsburys by cider co-operative Les Celliers Associes where their passion is for quality products and respect for their environment. Traditional methods are combined with the best of modern facilities. This cider has been made from 100% pure juice pressed from hand selected Brittany cider apples. They slowly ferment this juice at low temperature to produce a sparkling medium dry cider, packed full of refreshing, intense apple flavours.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a small and fizzy white head. Good, sweet apple aroma. Medium body, bubbly, dry apple notes yet with an underlying sweetness. Some tannic astringency in the finish. Authentic and drinkable. 210810

75oml corked. Subdued but plesant Frog cider. zippy and acidic aroma of cooking apples ..but there is some flabiness that insinuates its gonna be sweet. bAlance between dry and sweetness is nice. not rustic or funky like UK scrumpy and not too complex. But its a decent offering.

Cloudy orange with a white head. Slightly stewed apple aroma. Taste is almost caramel sweet. Soft and gentle mouthfeel with no astringency. Dryness in the finish almost redeems it.

Bottle. Slightly spicy apples with that sweet almost buttery flavour that reminds me of pastry. Juicy in the mouth and fairly sweet but like apple juice its a pleasant sweetness. Quite pleasant but I do prefer my ciders with a bit more of a punch.
