Available in 500ml bottles at Sainsburys supermarkets as part of their Taste The Difference range.

A traditional ale brewed with Hallertau hops and a proportion of East Anglian wheat to give delicious yeasty flavours typical of German wheat beers.

Bottle from sainsbury, wednesfield. Golden amber beer with no head. Aroma of caramel and yeast. Taste is malts, some yeast, caramel and a hint of butter. Ok.

Clear light lemon brown with no head. Little aroma. You can definitely taste the German hops, and the wheat flavor is strong, but what makes this a very English bear is it has that British-ale mineral flavor.

Pale golden, not much head. Aroma is grassy, with hints of banana. I don’t get the cloves they claim from the deScription. Refreshing. Not a bad wheat beer.

bottle from sainsburys a very easy to drink beer that has a nice amount of fruity and hoppy tastes going on a beer that would be great for a nice hot day in the garden

A nice and easy drinkable blonde ale with some hay, bit of vanilla and grainy moments. Easily drinkable with a mild ending. Not bad.

Bottle from Sainsburys in Folkestone. Pours out in a deep golden-blonde colour with low airy head and medium body. Aroma of mild hops and straw. Taste of mild hops, straw, mild fruits, grains, bread and light flowers. Malty hints. Drinkable and nice, yet nothing special.

Bottle. Probably the best aspect of this is the distinctive St Peter’s bottle, although it’s green not brown so the ale may not be as well kept in its container as it could be and I noticed a small skunky aroma. Golden with a thin head and light texture. Some grassy earthy notes apparent.

Hoppy aroma. Very strong alcohol smell. Taste is hoppy but not much else. Very average to say the least.

Nose is wheat, banana, slight marzipan. Taste wheat, marzipan, almonds. Amenable but far too sweet. Not a patch on a proper wheat beer.
