Bottle. An IPA brewed for a British supermarket. Features a sweet treacly aroma, very light tasting beer, no real discernible flavours coming out, slight hop on the tongue with a hearty sip. This is not a terrible beer, just a pretty bland American IPA... It is what it is, you can pick it up for less than Ł2 and its a handy little beer to space out a drinking session!

Bottle from Sainsbury’s Team Valley. An amber beer with caramel and orange marmalade flavours, slight pine notes and a creamy fruity finish.

Aroma is a bit stale, like boiled vegetables. Flavour is somewhat better. The hops deliver a little sharpness and decent level of bitterness. Feels really rough and unrefined though. Not good.

Bottle at home from Sainsburys. Sweet caramel maltvaroma . some fruity american c hop aroma. Flavour is sweetish cara malt. Some c hop. Pale amber. Short lived white head. Too sweet and not enough hops for an IPA.

Hopfiger, etwas alkoholischer Antrunk. Angenehme Malzigkeit und Hopfennoten, spritzig, harmonisch. Hopfiger, schnell abflachender Ausklang. 10/10/9/9/11/9

Dec 2012 - cold bottle. Quite similar to a traditionally British IPA but with a bit of astringent floral bitterness, which sends it into American IPA territory. Pretty ordinary, but nothing particularly negative to say.

Bottle. Pours a slight hazy, quite fizzy dark honey with a thcik white fluffy head. Really good nose on this - honey, oranges, peaches, pineapples. Everything I’ve come to expect from a decent american IPA. Mouthfeel is decent, with the bubbles, but they also dampen the taste somewhat. You still get a decent level of fruitiness, deep sweet malts and a slight roastiness. Finish isn’t as strong as I’d like from this, but rather easy to quaff for a 6.3.

The kind of American style IPA on the right side of the tracks to be cool located on my palate because this beer has dyness i dig Its rich malty rather than overly rich hoppy. there is a lovely dry piney hop quality -big on bitterness . toasty malts.caramel notes in there. this stuff almost cleans your palate in refreshment .

Bottle at my parents house, from JS thanks to the old man, 25/01/13. Hazed mid amber with a good sized frothy white head that retains well. Nose carries muted hop tones - dumbed down and not very fresh, caramel malts, orange, lemon sherbet, hint of soap, a general musty and tired aroma. Lots of descriptors but none make it score more than 5 ! Taste comprises faded hops, touch of pine, citrus, orange marmalade, caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, some hop bitterness in a dry finish. A pretty basic and below par IPA.
