JorisPPattyn (4526), Antwerpen, Belgium Mar 14, 2003 Yellow-gold with greenish shine throughout. Very thick white head, big bubbles, stable. Grain, pale malt, maybe some candi sugar in the nose. Whilst pouring I had a drain-odour, but that was immediately gone. Taste is quite dry, bitterish with an outspoken pale malt underbuild. There is candi sugar. Retronasal, the bitterness definitely gets hopcharacter, together with a cheese-rind flavour. Quite clean palate, medium-bodied. Some alcohol, sugar and dry; no new aftertaste. Overall a rather strong blonde, not yet triple. Clean tasting. Named after a local folk-poet.
