screwball (697), Motala, Sweden Apr 2, 2008 Bottle bought in France. Body is hazy orange and the head is nice foamy bubbly big. has an easty hopy, grassy aroma. Also some citrus. Flavor is fresh hopy, flowery and easy to drink. Body is medium. This is almoust as an Belgian blond but to thin and not so complex. jbrus (4178), Delft, Netherlands Jan 22, 2008 Bottle@Home. Dirt and veggies aroma. Yellow color, chunks floating around, off-white irregular head, fair lace. Dirt, citric, bitter, lemon, thin and sparkling. This was pretty horrible. harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Dec 5, 2006 75cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Hazy dirty gold colour under a thick rocky white head. Slightly woody aroma. Some sourness. I think that it may be off. Not sure. Almost has elemens of a lambic. Some nice citrus. Just a bit weird. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 7, 2005 Bottled. Cloudy golden, lively head. Strong aroma and flavour of pears in syrup with marzipan(!?) Sweet and rounded with low bitterness. A very interesting dessert beer. dornoy (633), Lyngby, Denmark Mar 20, 2005 High white head on this golden body. The taste is well-balanced hoppy and sweet. This is a beer I could drink for hours, but I wouldn’t drive my car after the tasting, because I could feel the effect of the 7,5 % alcohol very much, without detecting any alcohol taste in the beer tough. A wondelful example of bière de garde and an experience I’d repeat any time.
