COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saint Andre is made with a blend of five specialty malts imported from Belgium. These help to create a smooth, complex character which is balanced by a crisp hop flavour. The result is a remarkably drinkable beer that celebrates the best Europe has to offer. Lager in The Bohemian style. Note: Brewed by Doug Pengelly of Ste. Andre at the Stratford Brewing facility.

Rich golden color with fine white head. Slight skunky nose with some honey aromas. Light mouthfell with short malty finish. Flavors of malt, light hops, slight acidic note and little interest. Session yes, stunning no.

On tap, C’est What, Toronto. Decent amber colour, little head. Very little aroma. Mouthfeel is very watery and thin, with some malt notes and a slight hoppy bite at the end. I thought it was like a pale imitation of Pilsner Urquell.
