COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer encompasses everything we love about Double IPA’s. HOPS. We used a simple two-row base malt as a vehicle to bring a burst of hops to your palate. A healthy dose of Chinook, Simcoe and Citra is the reason we love brewing this beer.

Bomber from K&B. Quite hoppy from the get go. Easy sipping. Some citris notes. Mostly grapefruit with a touch of sweetness to it. A very solid 2IPA. Good and clean. Finish is grapefruit peel. No alcohol is noticed.

Can from Target in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pine, marmalade. Taste is marmalade with some dank piney earth. Solid and approachable for a DIPA.

Bottle. I know a big company bought this little company, but this is a big, good beer. Bright golden. Nice head. A brilliant San Diego examplar... Viscous and hoppy, oily. Brilliant. (#6308, 8/28/2016)

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a fresh hop with a mix of citrus rind, honeydew melon and a faint green onion. Flavor is more of pineapple with some grapefruit bitterness. Finish is more fruit and is quite bitter. Pretty solid IPA. Plenty of fruity hops with no heavy malt to get in the way of the hops. My bottle is a bit old so getting my hands on a fresher bottle would have upped the score.

A nice beer ends a bit thin and watery. Carmel melon and very light hop bite. Candy like. Thin head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle pours clear straw gold with small head. Nose is piney, grassy, resin, orange, citrus, onion. Taste is similar with nice modern take on the classic west coast profile, resiny pine and citrus, strong but a bit more restrained in the bitterness, bright grassy lemon, clean malt, and floral fruit finishes it up.

Can. Hazy orange body, lasting off white head. Big, fresh hop character, lots of sweet young perfumey pine, citrus peel, mango, spicy nuances. Lots going on with hops here, so fresh! Lightly sweet malts, just the right body to keep this drinkable. Lasting bitterness, amplified spiciness in the finish. Excellent.

A bottle that is at least 6 months old, so was not expecting much from this. How wrong I was! Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth but has decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, mildly sweet. Very good hop spice, juicy orange and grapefruit. Sweet pine in to mildly sweet tropical fruits. Light finish. Good spicy hop linger. Lovely stuff and astonishingly fresh hoppy for it’s age. Would love to try one of these super fresh.

Won this bottle in a photo contest along with some SA swag. Pretty cool. The beer however is just ok. Should have just smelled it all day.
