Poured from a can. Clear golden color with a substantial white head. Significant lacing. Lots of citrus on the nose. Taste of pine and citrus. Not too bitter. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tropica fruit pale malts, slightly sweet, rounded. Well balanced. Excellent and alcohol well hidden.

Delicious beer. Nice golden amber color that has hops exploding from the glass. Also citrus and resin. Taste has bitterness up front but the balance of grapefruit, pine and flowers makes it smooth. Very good beer.

Nice aromas of grapefruit, citrus and other tropical fruit. Flavors are more of the same. Not very bitter for a Double IPA but bitter enough I suppose. Balanced nicely with the malt. Medium bodied. A good, solid IPA.

My first rating for this newer local brewery. Bomber given to me by my sister-in-law for my recent 40th birthday. Pours a cloudy yellow-gold hue with almost three fingers of fluffy white foam. AROMA of salty ocean air (it is a San Diego brewery after all), some tropical fruit, light wet pine forest, and a hint of cat piss-y hops. FLAVOR of significant stone fruit (peach, apricot), honey malts, danks hops, tangerine, grapefruit, and some sweet tropical fruit. Quite hoppy but well-balanced with a nice level of bitterness. The generous carbonation works well. Well done DIPA from a new brewery in a city that excels in this style. (20, 873)

Cloudy medium orange pour with healthy white head. Really strong aromas of tropical fruits and strong citrus and pollen. Overall a very fruit punch-ish scent. Average carbonation, viscous mouthfeel, tingly but clean finish. Taste is similar to nose with more bitter. Ver very good DIPA.

Deuce to pint. Pours a medium orange with bright white head. Fresh juicy hop aroma. Taste is full of fresh hops, resin, pine and citrus with moderate bitterness. Very nice.

22 oz. bottle, pours a vibrant golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, caramel malts, and some pine. Flavour starts hugely hoppy with loads of resinous and piney hops screaming out, with a good balance of caramel malt, and a lightly bitter finish. A huge hop monster, without much bitterness. Not too much malty sweetness as well. Excellent IIPA - my type.
