Everything you’d expect from a great American IPA: Hop-forward, yet civilized. Bitter but balanced. Cascade hops ring loud and clear with citrus/pine notes and are backed up by a chorus of our other favorites - Apollo, Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, Crystal, and Simcoe.

Can, thanks to Ingo! Sampled on April 7, 2015.
Clear golden color, white head. Scent is intense tropical fruits; passion fruit, mango, papaya, pineapple; hoppy, a bit caramelly malty sweet. Hoppy, green, herbal, bitter, alcohol taste. Warming alcohol. Hoppy, citrus aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high to high bitterness.
Alcohol and bitterness a bit unbalanced for my taste.

Appearance: Pours a regal yellow gold with a tight white cap of foam atop.

Aroma: Grapefruit, sativa, tangerine, fruit cocktail.

Taste: Beautiful mixture of dank citrus and grassy American hops. Very dry pilsnerish bready malt. Finishes with moderate length clean bitterness that lets up for repeat sips.

Mouthfeel: Bone dry, average carb, medium bodied.

Overall: This is exactly what I want from an IPA, and a perfect example of a San Diego IPA. With that said, if you like your IPAs a bit sweeter, it might get some taking used to. This might be in my top 3 IPAs as of this posting.

Pale yellow pour at Blue Palms. Slightly hazy with a nice white head. Citrus and tropical fruit nose. Bright hoppy goodness in the taste. Dry. More bitterness than I typiclaly like, but this all worked together quite well.

(draught) clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of heavy resin and prickly pear, with a hint of grass, some apricots, yeast and sugar icing. flavour is mostly nettles and herbal hops, with quite a bit of alcohol, a touch of pale malts and a semi-dry medium-bitter finish. medium- to heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Gelb, orange. Zitrus, Grapefruit in der Nase. Am Gaumen direkt bitter, herb, Grapefruit. Etwas schmaler Körper. Recht standardmäßiges IPA.

On draft at the brewery. Yellow orange pour, with a white head. Citrusy, bitter, sweet malt, caramel, and pine. Nothing special, but still a pretty solid IPA.

Wow. Great San Diego style IPA. Aroma, piney, hop forward beer. Not to bad an ABV. Enjoyed anytime. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gold/Orange haze with poor head retention. Citrus, herbs, mandarin, slight bitterness with a bite. As IPA’s goes this hits the marks but with that said there is no real "wow" factor. Great summer drink.
