COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Everything you’d expect from a great American IPA: Hop-forward, yet civilized. Bitter but balanced. Cascade hops ring loud and clear with citrus/pine notes and are backed up by a chorus of our other favorites - Apollo, Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, Crystal, and Simcoe.

Pour is a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is plenty of fruity hop. Flavor is again a nice fruity hop with plenty of bitterness. Very clean with fruity hops aplenty.

Sample on draft at Neighborhood in downtown San Diego. A very bitter IPA with a smooth mouthfeel. Pours a light golden. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2015 From bomber to pint glass. Aroma is moderate high citrus with low levels of resin and pine. Faint green onion. Clear, deep yellow with a full white head that retains well with large bubbles and a soft top. Flavor is overt resin and pine, with very restrained citrus. Moderate maltiness is a little too high to make this enjoyable. This beer is very bitter, making it seem out of balance with the malt and hop flavor/aroma. [Much better than when i had it 3 months ago. Have bumped my score up a couple of points]

Pint in tap at Mojos in Woodland. The aroma is nice with piney, resinous, and tropical citrus character. Slightly dank, too. Transparent golden yellow body with a mefium, fizzy white head. Starts with a weird herbal, oniony hop flavor. Not much in the way of malt balance in the middle, or anything to balance the hop bitterness. Finishes a bit medicinal with a harsh aspirin-like bitterness.

Draught at Craft Beer Base. Clear gold with decent lacing. Big citrus hop aroma, some pine. Flavour is much fuller than I expexted from looking at it. Great fruit flavour with bitter hops.

On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours golden blonde with a thick beige head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with considerable hop bitterness. Nice hop profile.

Huge pillowy white head. Pale golden color that is very hazy. Pine and resin aromas dominate through to the flavors. Maybe could use a bit more carbonation? Decent finish but nothing extraordinary overall.

Big grapefruit aroma, beautiful golden color and big rocky white head. Some light dank and pine, bushy vines, light mineral. Biscuity, honeydew. Mostly sweet finish. Lots of potential here but too bitter and too sweet. This is negatively affecting the body, finish and hop expression. Less bittering, keep dry hops, soften feel, less residual sugar.
