COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A well balanced, full flavored, amber ale. It has a rich, malty body with a pleasant caramel character derived from a specialty Caravienne malt. A complex hop aroma, with a hint of floral and citrus comes from a combination of Cascades and Liberty hops. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain. Saint Arnold Amber Ale is best consumed at 50 - 55° Fahrenheit.

Tap into pint. Golden color, no head. Light hops in the nose. In the mouth comes across more as an easy pale ale than an Amber, modest malt, equal part hops.fast finish. Enh.

On tap at the brewery. Unoffensive older style amber that is stronger on the malt. light on the hops.

Rated on 02-18-2013 at Saint Arnold B.C. This draft beer pours a small off-white head with a long retention, transparent golden body, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is malt, grainy, floral, and grassy hops. The flavor is citrus, grassy hops, grainy, malt, and sweet. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. This beer has a nice hop flavor, but not overly hoppy tasting.

Tap. Amber with small head. Light caramel base. Really nice crisp hops. As ambers go, this is excellent.

On tap light orange color. Lacy clingy head. Medium carbonation. Aroma of malt and hops. Some floral notes. I’m surprised this is an Amber. Higher than hops than expected for an amber. Treasures like a light ipa. Not sure if I was poured the right beer....

Overall, good beer. Wasn’t too crazy about it. Paired it with brisket and it was a surprisingly good combination
