A well balanced, full flavored, amber ale. It has a rich, malty body with a pleasant caramel character derived from a specialty Caravienne malt. A complex hop aroma, with a hint of floral and citrus comes from a combination of Cascades and Liberty hops. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain. Saint Arnold Amber Ale is best consumed at 50 - 55° Fahrenheit.

Leighton’s flat clearance. Thanks to Paul. Almost clear amber beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest carbonation. Tangy floralness turning bitter. Bitter citric peel. Touch of odd sourness. Dry finish. Strange and a little unpleasant.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Scopey. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy topping. The nose holds mild citric notes, dried pale malts. Medium sweet flavour with si pale pale, bready malts, tangerine, low bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, more simple bready malts, faint citrusy hops. Pretty basic but not bad.

Bottle at The BA Lounge in IAH. It pours clear golden - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, floral, soft, stone fruits, apricot, peachy, toasted grain, light caramel and bread. The taste is crisp, soft bitterness, floral, bitter orange, harsh metallic twang from carbonation, bread, cereal and some lemon with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and moderate+ effervescent carbonation. Easy - drinking, but lacking in a bit of punch. Not so bad, especially for am airport beer.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2016 Pours hazyish orange with a large white head. Smells of subtle malt and hops. Taste is mildly hoppy with some earthy tones. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Saint Arnold Amber finishes with a subtle lingering bitterness.

Pours a nice bright amber color. Aromas of grapefruit/pine with some roasty scents. Flavor is citrus mixed well with the sweet malt, finish is a bit metallic, kind of like sucking on a penny.
