Mr_Stitch (119), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 12, 2008 Bottle. Pour is the color of honey with an eggshell two finger head. Aroma is filled with piney hops, spices, and malt. Taste is very much the same and has a nice evenness. Mouthfeel, had a medium body, tang in the front, clean crisp ending. I enjoyed this beer very much and would love to drink more of them if I ever make it to Texas again.
ericandersnavy (97), denton, Texas, USA Jul 28, 2008 bottle picked up at a target. poured a clear gold with a white head. very good retention and lacing. flavor is sweet with a nice hop bitter finish. the carbonation is high. i could drink this one everday. Droptank (58), Spring, USA Jul 25, 2008 Nice malty flavor and clever balance of hops. Love the taste! I would recommend to all. mcbackus (587), Merritt Island, Florida, USA Jul 14, 2008 bottle: pours a cloudy orange cooper with a small white head slight lacing. aroma is very sweet with a little corn aroma, very sllight hops. flavou r si very weak, slight corn and grains, no hops, sweet not to great. johnnysmoke (32), Texas, USA Jul 4, 2008 Nice balance of malt and hops. This ale seems to me more like a good American pale ale. It is quite a bit similar to Siera Nevada pale. Nice hop, floral aroma. Beer pour medium head that mostly dissiapates. There is some lacing. The flavor begins with good malt and finishes with a bit of hop bitterness. Very good for a Texas beer.
plbogen (2), Bryan, Texas, USA does not count Jun 28, 2008 Good amber ale, not my favorite but a good one that I enjoy especially when I barbecue.
