COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A rich, hearty ale perfect for the holiday season with a malty sweetness and spicy hop character. The generous use of five different malts is responsible for the full flavor and high alcohol level of this beer Saint Arnold Christmas Ale is best consumed at 45° Fahrenheit.

Smells like apple juice(very mouthwatering), has a beautiful dark coppery color, and tastes of dark fruits and spices. Overall a pretty yummy seasonal beer from the people down in Houston.

On cask at the Dig Pub in Cedar Park. Nice big malt bomb! Just a bit of carbonation but it goes down way too easy given the ABV. Reminded me of cask ale in London. Yum.

12oz shorty bottle. Orange-tan with a thin, creamy off-white head. This is quite different than your typical US XMAS beer in that it is quite drinkable and sessionable, Still displays some fruitcake spice characteristics, but the malts are clean and smooth. This is really well done, I look forward to trying more beers from Saint Arnold. Medium bodied despite the rather big ABV. Smooth sweet finish, mild mead characteristics, but in no way overbearing. Awesome beer.

Bottle. Pours deep clear red with a thin tan head and lots of carbonation. Has a malty sweet taste, a medium mouthfeel and a spicy finish. Pretty good.

A greatly forward winter ale. Nice sweet malty flavor with a hint of spicy hops. Favorite Chris's ale so far this year. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Just picked up a sixer from the Christmas in July release. Pours a light head - about 1/2 finger. Smell is subtle - spicy , some clean hops. Taste. nice and slippery in the mouth. I can taste the spice (nutmeg?). Wonderful moutfeel. just the right amount of carbonation. Drinkability. This beer is dangerous. Extremely easy drinking for an 8% abv. Quite an interesting beer to drink in the summertime -- when it’s 105 outside. A nice break from the hop monsters that I usually crave in the summer. Serving type: bottle

Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a off white head. has a malty and fruity aroma. Smooth and thick on the palate. Malty and slightly bitter finish. A good holiday beer.

Cask pour. Brown pour with tan head. Christmas spices, pine and sweetness aromas. Cinnamon, some darker flavor, finishes with some plum and other Belgian influenced flavors.
