3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured into Sam Adams Sensory Glass. No freshness date. Bottem of cap read: Hop to it!
Pours a thin head that doesn’t last very long. Color is a hazy orange copper.
The aroma is of spices. A nut mag flavor is present. There also seems to be some cherry aromas floating around, as well as slight earthy hops.
The first thing I tasted in this beer was the hops. It tasted kind of like SN Celebration. The hops were very earthy, followed by holiday spices. There was also a vanilla flavor present.
Mouthfeel starts out bitter, like an ipa, but the gets really smooth. However, it leaves a dry aftertaste like an ipa.
Overall, this is a really easy to drink and at 7% I could easily session this beer. It is complex and has a lot of taste to it. I really like this winter beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz. bottle: This one pours a clear, orangish amber color. There was a very small off white head on it that didn’t linger or leave any lacing. Pretty decent nose. Caramel malts, some fruits (apple?), hints of spices. The taste is pretty good too. Caramel malts, with a hint of roast. A subdued sweetness with some bitterness trying to come through, resulting in a hint of dryness in the finish. .

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle courtesy of AirForceHops. Nice orange pour with lots of tiny bubbles rising to the top. Biscuity malt nose with lots of sweet fruit. Taste is all sweet malt up front, spice & hop bite linger nicely to a dry, slightly bitter finish. Hard to belive this is 7%. Very drinkable!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle courtesy AirForceHops. Fruity caramel malt and dusty spice aroma. Clear copper with a moderate off-white head. Caramel barley malt and light bitter hop flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation. OK, but not a standout.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
A grainy aroma. Pours a pretty clear copper with mostly diminishing sandy head. The taste is moderately sweet. Sweet malts initially followed by a spicy finish with a grany aftertaste. Slight candy sweetness also detected. No "Christmas spices" noted. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Fizzy mouthfeel. Overall, enjoyable. I would like to have seen more spices being that this was Christmas ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle from Kegs and Barrels, Plano, TX. Aroma is of caramel malts, spice and a light dark fruit. Flavor is mostly similar. Caramel with a chewy biscuit malts, light spices, and grassy English hops. Very much has an English feel to it. Texture is lightly grainy. Medium in body. Finish is clean and sweet. Nothing really bold or over-the-top but it does have a nice drinkability. Had no problem killing half a 6’er with a friend.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz. Bottle from Jamil. One of the worst offerings from this usually stellar brewer. This wasn’t bad. It was just a subpar Christmas Ale. Nothing special here. Apricot odd faint scent. Big white head over a bronze, clear pour. Light and crisp. Grain flavor to light spice and that apricot fruity flavor.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really solid rendition, great balance and awesome body! Spice is lower for a holiday beer but still stands out as so. Go get some if you can!

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours clear umber orange with a medium beige head. Smells malty, hints of caramel, and a touch of hop bitterness. Taste is mostly sweet and has a bit of a mild spice character. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Saint Arnold Christmas Ale finishes with a spiced sweet bitterness.
