The color is deep amber with a light, creamy head. The nose starts off with a touch of citrus but then turns decidedly into peaches. The taste starts off with creamy malt resulting from the pale 2 row and caramel malts and Saint Arnold yeast. The hop bitter starts low then builds to a crescendo, but always maintains a balance even in its big finish. The hop flavor continues to be peaches, an interesting manifestation of the Columbus, Simcoe and Centennial hops. This is the first Divine Reserve that we have filtered. This decision was made to make the hop flavors brighter, plus it would have been a bottling nightmare with all the hop bits in it. This beer is best enjoyed at 45° or even a little warmer. Though the recipe and style indicate this beer to be enjoyed fresh, we expect this beer to develop interestingly over the years.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2015 Nice very hoppy beer, well balanced. Pours golden with a small amount of lace. Neutral aroma. Good balance, the hops are right there and more of a 1.5 ipa. Average mouthfeel, carbonation is right there. Good drinkability. mild citrus taste. Alcohol well hidden.Very slight acid builds up. Bottle in trade. Good again 3 weeks.

Thanks to my mother-in-law for buying me a case. Thanks to KAggie for shipping it to me. Pours a light amber, clear with a whispy white head. Not much lacing. Aroma of sticky citrus and vanilla. Flavor is a little strong and a little sweet. Not overly sweet. Tons of hop flavor. Nice balance between the bitter hops and sticky sweetness. Bitter finish lingers. Actually, a pretty darn good DIPA.

Bottle 12fl.oz.

Clear medium orange colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, fresh mandarin, grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110622]

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a crystal clear light orange body and an aggressively large, tight bubbled, bone hued off-white head. Staying power is good as is the lacing. Aromas of orange, citrus, light butterscotch (uh-oh), bready, a touch of rotten fruit, lightly herbal, some pine notes. Some caramel and bready hints. No alcohol. Clean fermentation. Flavors are on the sweeter side of things (surprisingly nearly a neutral balance!), tea, citrus, some bitterness. Caramel, orange, grapefruit. Very easy drinking, not rough in anyway (by aggressive cohumulone, alcohol or otherwise). I wish it were a bit fresher, but at only 2 and change months old, I am not sure how much better it would be fresh (I have been a touch generous). Creamy, smooth, not harsh in anyway, a touch warming. A hint of vegital hop matter in the finish. Medium bubbles, decently dry. Good beer overall.

Poured golden orange with a foamy head. Smells of hops, maltiness, and a little of the reported peaches. Delicious imperial ipa. Make sure you let it warm up. Good balance between hoppiness and malt body.

Via trade with Blutt59. The aroma is earthy, musty, then citrus, and peaches. The appearance is translucent amber, white head. The flavor is citrus, bread, caramel, nice. Medium/thick in body. The finish is strong, lingering citrus/grapefruit. Excellent. Thanks, Bob.
