The color is deep amber with a light, creamy head. The nose starts off with a touch of citrus but then turns decidedly into peaches. The taste starts off with creamy malt resulting from the pale 2 row and caramel malts and Saint Arnold yeast. The hop bitter starts low then builds to a crescendo, but always maintains a balance even in its big finish. The hop flavor continues to be peaches, an interesting manifestation of the Columbus, Simcoe and Centennial hops. This is the first Divine Reserve that we have filtered. This decision was made to make the hop flavors brighter, plus it would have been a bottling nightmare with all the hop bits in it. This beer is best enjoyed at 45° or even a little warmer. Though the recipe and style indicate this beer to be enjoyed fresh, we expect this beer to develop interestingly over the years.

12oz bottle: Thanks Kaggie! This one pours a hazy amber color. There was just a wisp of an off-white head on it, and no lacing. Nice nose on this one. Orange, lemon and pine notes. Maybe a hint of peaches. Nice taste! Fair amount of bitterness, orange, peach and pine notes. Big malt body underneath, but no sweetness coming through. Very Nice!

Got this as an extra from HeffIam. Really terrific beer. Pours beautiful clear pear with dissipating white head. Scent is citrus candy. Flavor bites big up front and then eases gently into a malty finish. Well carbonated light medium body. Bottle - Trade from HeffIam

Poured from a bomber delivered fresh from TX. Thanks Ray! Has a nice amber color, a bit darker than your typical IIPA. Has a nice hop forward palate with a clean finish. Not too bitter but there's a bite. Overall a really good double IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tastes more like an IPA not a double. Great flavor but overall it doesn't knock my socks off. ABV is high. Overall good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Large bubbled, head that falls flat quickly. No lace to speak of. Clear, light, amber hued brew. Light nose of citrus and fruit with a hint of pale malts. Body is medium, no carbonation, little oily, lifeless.Mildly sweet malts with a little orchardly fruitiness and light piny, leafy notes . Dry finish with a tame bite.Bomber received in trade from fiveacestx. Thanks Cam ! Bottle had leaked out about an inch and a half or so of its contents. After further examination it appears the cap was not seated completely. Oh well, poop happens. Shame too as it would of been nicer beer with some carbonation.
