3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at Petrol Station in Houston (as Endeavour). Clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Medium to full body with flavors of resinous hops, grainy malt and fruit. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Well, the commercial description describes all my normal notes pretty well. So, overall, a great DIPA, a real treat for a Florida native.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft in tulip; red amber.. Palate was hoppy straw, which sounds funky but I enjoyed it. It was good from my first sip to the bottom of the glass.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
From bottle. Pretty burnt orange with very little head and virtually no lacing. Hoppy nose; maybe a little grassy. Active carbonation. Lots of hop character, solid balance and a nice tingle on the lips and tongue. Dry, bitter finish. Has every quality I like in a beer. In my top five of all-time favorites.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy golden/copper with a fast-dissipating head. Bitter citrusy nose with grapefruit and orange and lemon zest hoppiness with a firm caramel backbone. Flavor was pretty strongly hoppy with notes of grapefruit and candied oranges with a nice full bodied caramalt backbone and grassy/floral bitterness. Very full and hoppy but just short of amazing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber, labelled endeavour from blutt59. Slightly hazy amber with a a fluffy slightly off white head. Grapefruit, hint of lemon zest, a chewy maltiness that was surprising. Moderate body and carbonation, pleasant bitterness with an underlying caramel sweetness, becomes quite dry and more bitter although slightly unbalanced.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from drabmuh. Thanks Matt.
The beer is clear and bright orange with a small white head. Plenty of effervescence present.
The aroma offers some candied citrus fruit, sweet malt.
The flavor imparts grapefruit, alcohol, tart citrus, orange rind. Some good stuff going here, but a bit too sweet. Long lasting bitterness in the finish. Malt presence is formidable. I prefer beers of this ilk to be a showcase for hops, more aromatic and lighter in body.
Not a smooth experience for the palate. The beer is heavy, with abundant sweet malt. Alcohol and a dry, hoppy bitterness are very aggressive on the palate.
Overall, this is ok. Not my thing, but worth a try.
