COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The color is deep amber with a light, creamy head. The nose starts off with a touch of citrus but then turns decidedly into peaches. The taste starts off with creamy malt resulting from the pale 2 row and caramel malts and Saint Arnold yeast. The hop bitter starts low then builds to a crescendo, but always maintains a balance even in its big finish. The hop flavor continues to be peaches, an interesting manifestation of the Columbus, Simcoe and Centennial hops. This is the first Divine Reserve that we have filtered. This decision was made to make the hop flavors brighter, plus it would have been a bottling nightmare with all the hop bits in it. This beer is best enjoyed at 45° or even a little warmer. Though the recipe and style indicate this beer to be enjoyed fresh, we expect this beer to develop interestingly over the years.

Above average. This is the original bottling, not the Endeavour version, so this had some age on it. I had this when it first came out and can say it has mellowed but not by much. The aroma is sweeter and has a floral essence. The color is a clear amber with virtually no head. Smooth, almost oily palate. The flavors have blended well but it has become sweeter with the hops bitterness dropping slightly. Alcohol is still present and the carbonation has lessened a little. Still a good brew.

On tap at Munich Tap-House. Clear amber, decent head. Nice citrussy and piney hop nose, good hop bitterness in the mouth. Strangely easy drinking, but nice.

I’m just going to say I’m happy that the folks up at Saint Arnolds made this beer a year round brew. I normally have one with a hearty steak dinner and finish it off with a boiler room Berliner weisse with raspberry tarts for desert

From a bomber. Pours a dark orange and makes a cream-colored head. This double is a nice treat...smells of fresh hops and tastes of malted barley, caramel, and of course, hops! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2014 Endeavor DIPA. Nice balanced double IPA. Moderately hoppy with soft pine notes. Nothing particularly outstanding or special but it’s tasty and it goes down easy.

Tap at taphouse Munich. Amber, creamy offwhite head. Fresh fruity citric hop nose. Light sticky resinny base, but nice broad hop profile on top. Grapefruit peel aftertaste

12 oz. bottle from my Secret Santa. Thanks man! Pours an orangish amber with a small off white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of peach, pineapple. Somewhat juicy, with some orange peel. Flavor is fruity, with some mild caramel malt backing and a twinge of alcohol. Medium to full bodied, aerage carbonation. Finishes with hoppy with a bit of booze. This is pretty nice.

Had it on tap, not bad. I honestly couldn’t pick up much of anything but grass in the aroma. A tiny bit of of pineyness but thats it. Taste was a little better. Little bit of tropical fruit, little pine. Bitter. I wasn’t crazy about elissa IPA by Saint Arnold. I thought it was kind of sweet and weird. This was a little better. I don’t know, maybe I’ve never gotten a good one. Not crazy about it though.

Bomber: ENDEAVOUR IIPA - Copper orange color with 2 fingers of off white , dense, lush foam, which settles after a couple of minutes leaving lace. Aroma is nice and juicy, fruity with orange, honey, and pine. The flavor is a nice balance of acidic and bitter, with nice caramel backbone, it finishes with a touch of aspirin dryness. Medium-full palate, slightly slick, soft mouthfeel adequate carbonation, holds up pretty well with warming. Really nice IIPA.
