COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The color is deep amber with a light, creamy head. The nose starts off with a touch of citrus but then turns decidedly into peaches. The taste starts off with creamy malt resulting from the pale 2 row and caramel malts and Saint Arnold yeast. The hop bitter starts low then builds to a crescendo, but always maintains a balance even in its big finish. The hop flavor continues to be peaches, an interesting manifestation of the Columbus, Simcoe and Centennial hops. This is the first Divine Reserve that we have filtered. This decision was made to make the hop flavors brighter, plus it would have been a bottling nightmare with all the hop bits in it. This beer is best enjoyed at 45° or even a little warmer. Though the recipe and style indicate this beer to be enjoyed fresh, we expect this beer to develop interestingly over the years.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours copper/ruby with a thick, cream-colored head. Aroma of a lot of citrusy and floral hops with a good amount of caramel malts. Flavor the same, with a good hoppiness. Smooth texture. A pretty good beer.

Above average. This is the original bottling, not the Endeavour version, so this had some age on it. I had this when it first came out and can say it has mellowed but not by much. The aroma is sweeter and has a floral essence. The color is a clear amber with virtually no head. Smooth, almost oily palate. The flavors have blended well but it has become sweeter with the hops bitterness dropping slightly. Alcohol is still present and the carbonation has lessened a little. Still a good brew.

Pours clear amber with some head. Nose is peaches, fruit ester, pineapple, caramel malt. Taste starts off very malty with some fruit esters, peaches, pineapple. Then becomes slightly bitter on the finish. A lot of malt balance. Very creamy mouthfeel. Very good double ipa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of blutt59. Pours a clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Intensely citrusy hop aromas - massive hops. Medium body, fruity and spicy with the heavy and almost herbal hop load returning leading to a very bitter finish. Fairly classic DIPA. 220611

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a crystal clear light orange body and an aggressively large, tight bubbled, bone hued off-white head. Staying power is good as is the lacing. Aromas of orange, citrus, light butterscotch (uh-oh), bready, a touch of rotten fruit, lightly herbal, some pine notes. Some caramel and bready hints. No alcohol. Clean fermentation. Flavors are on the sweeter side of things (surprisingly nearly a neutral balance!), tea, citrus, some bitterness. Caramel, orange, grapefruit. Very easy drinking, not rough in anyway (by aggressive cohumulone, alcohol or otherwise). I wish it were a bit fresher, but at only 2 and change months old, I am not sure how much better it would be fresh (I have been a touch generous). Creamy, smooth, not harsh in anyway, a touch warming. A hint of vegital hop matter in the finish. Medium bubbles, decently dry. Good beer overall.

Bottle. Clear amber pour with a big white head. Carmel malt aromas. Nondescript hop and caramel malt flavors. Hard to take this too serious after knockin’ back a Port Anniversary...

Closing out the Worthington IPA throwdown. This bottle is a few months old. Clear copper color with a big khaki head and thick lacing. Nice mellow hop scent with sweetness and bitterness. Big flavor that starts hoppy and finishes bitter and malty. The almost 9ABV is well hidden.
