2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a bright golden amber color. There’s a small head that dissipates rather quickly, then leaves a circle of white tiny foam around the rim of the glass. The aroma is lemon zest, a grassy note, some light grains, and a slight dirt aroma. The flavor is yeasty and spicy. The rye really pushes to the front. I poured it somewhat warm, and as it warmed even more the spiciness was prominent. Not really a fan.

I’m not sure this Belgian/American hybrid works, but it sure hides the alcohol well.

Thanks Dane! Nice golden orange, clear with an offwhite head. Slightly doughy aroma, no real hop presence, but not offensive or anything. Taste is spicy rye, burning alcohol, belgian yeast, white bread. Alright stuff, but lacks some depth.

A beguiling beer. Slightly sweet, slightly fruity Belgian yeast notes. Amazingly well hidden ABV. Showcases Belgian flavors prominently, and very quaffable.
