3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I was excited to have this one since I grew up in Houston but had never had a Saint Arnold beer. This one poured with less than one finger of head. There are some slight floral notes in the nose. The flavors had a little bit of citrus and some pretty good hop bitterness. This one was a little bit too thin feeling however. Overall a pretty decent IPA, maybe a starter IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the "how have I not rated this yet" collection. Tap @ the brewery during one of their nifty new lunches. Aroma has seemingly all of the usual hop suspects rolled into one. And yet, not a bitter-to-end-all-bitterness hopfest.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Floral and citrus hops greet my nares. Pale amber in color with a head that dissipated rather quickly. Taste is heavy bitterness and medium malt. The malt is what saves this beer in my opinion, otherwise it’d just be bitter hops (although when done correctly, I enjoy it that way). Texture is somewhat sticky. An ok IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Brewfest. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white head. Grassy, grapefruit hop aroma with subdued malt backbone. Flavor is similar with a touch more malt in the body and a bitter finish. Pretty nice.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at JW Marriott. Lots of hops but are tempered by the malt. Which results in good amount of bitterness. Good tasting.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours clear amber with creamy white head. Aroma is floral and grassy hops, light citrus, bready and cereal malts, and light cookie. Flavor is dry malts forward followed by grassy and dank hop bitterness with some light citrus notes and faint toast; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a clear copper with big, fine off-white head, settles in minutes. Aroma is hoppy, resinous, piney, floral, fruity, nutty, malty and surprisingly sweet. Flavor is mildly hoppy, citrus, with a sweet malt finish and a hoppy, mildly sweet aftertaste. Not particularly hoppy, but the balance of hop and malt is pleasant. Soft to moderate carbonation, medium-light body, and mildly crisp texture. A solid IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 19, 2013 Pours an amber color with a tan head. Has a herbal somewhat bready nose. Not a very complex taste. Mild bitterness. Thin mouthfeel. Not what I expected from an IPA. It is just an ok beer. Nothing it would seek out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours clear light golden amber with a big pillowy off white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is bready, biscuit malts and fruity, grassy hops (cascade?).
The flavor is milder than expected - some sweet bready, biscuit malts with a little fruit and a decent grassy, slightly metallic bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, an OK IPA - too much biscuit malt and not enough hop flavor.
