Beautiful pour, with a small head. Strawberry smell and a nice golden color. I would recommend drinking one on a hot day; but don’t try a 2nd.

Pale Kölsch-aroam in the nose. The beer starts smooth, Kölsch-typical fresh. The mainpart is not very deep but smooth, slightly malty. Typical Kölsch. Aftertaste is smooth, malty, some fresh hops, nearly no bitterness.
A very good Texas-copy of a Kölsch! --> 12/12/12/12

Kolsches don't get a lot of respect in terms of style, but this is probably the best one I've ever had. Well done!

Thanks, Marshall for bringing this back from Texas Clear medium amber with a bubbly head cover and a sheet of lace. Taste is mild bitter malt. Grass and light honey show up in the palate along with a hint of clean earth. Mikdway through the finish bitter floral hops keep things in check. An appealing, simple, bitter brew

I really enjoyed this beer. I’m not sure about the kolsch-style of it, but it had a nice citrus flavor and a refreshing aftertaste. Great summer ale.

12 bottle pours clear golden with a white head. The first aroma I get is acetaldehyde, so I’m put off immediately. There is a subtle malt sweetness in there, but it’s overpowered by a grassy, green apple aroma. Flavor is a bit better, and it’s very light and refreshing, but unfortunately flawed. Extra points for having such a great name, however.

On tap at some joint on Bourbon Street that charged me $10. This is a pale lager by any standard, and an average one at best. Missing any elegance that is possessed by credible Kolsches, this was a big fail for me, worsened by the price point. Grrrrr.

Draft at Brewfest. Cleat golden pour with a small white. Grassy, floral aroma with lager note and pale malt backbone. Clean crisp flavor with touches a grassy hops. Refreshing.
