This beer tastes like fresh cut grass smells. Pours very, very pale yellow. Takes of pale citrus, earth, and grass. Highly carbonated and slightly skunky. I’d have to be really hot to enjoy this beer.

Aug 4, 2008 Nice bright clear golden color with a foamy white head. Smell is floral, fruits, hops, sort of perfumy. Taste is light fruits, clean, and crisp. Lacking real flavor.

Jul 28, 2008 Admittedly I’m not a big kolsch fan, but I really couldn’t get into this one. The name is appropriate because the aroma and flavor are both dominated by a grassy tone. Pours a golden yellow with a moderate white head. Light on the tongue with a dry finish. Won’t be making its way into my rotation.

Jun 23, 2008 Pours a tall lasting head and lacing on a creamy yellow liquid. Aromas of toasted bread and citrus. Medium nectar with mellow residual effers. A malt forward brew with a decent bittering component leaving a malty sweetness on the finish. Thanks TB.

Jun 8, 2008 It may be that kolsch just isn’t my style, but it’s not a very interesting beer. Crisp and refreshing on a hot Houston summer day, but not much in the way of flavor... and maybe that’s the pont. Refreshing, but plain.

Jun 4, 2008 Bottle brought by friend. Straw yellow color, some foam, nose is grassy and a little malt, flavor is grassy a little sweet malt and kinda flowery. Not amazing
