wrxkaboom (15), juneau, Alaska, USA Sep 18, 2006 St Arnold’s Brewery does not hide the purpose of this beer as a refreshing drink during a hot day. A classic yellow in coloring, its body light, and a quick taste. Refreshing on a hot day, but not too much to taste.

Pours yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. Big yeast aromas with a hint of malt sweetness. I can not detect any hop bouquet. Malt is a bit less sweet on the tongue; significant tannins. Hop bitterness is present but not that assertive. Long, less than pleasing finish. Medium body, somewhat slick.
A good "session" beer with the strengths such a beer requires but with few of the faults such beers so often possess. Overall, a beer that serves its purpose and by no means a bad brew. Good, but not at all great. BelgianBeerGal (1035), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Nov 21, 2008 Bottle in Fort Worth. Kolsch? Really? Says who? Seemed more like an American style pils to me. Not bad at all, just not what I expect in a Kolsch. BenDover (103), Texas, USA Nov 21, 2008 Not even sure how to describe it. Unimpressive comes to mind. Unusual too, though. How about "unusually unimpressive." Yeah, that about does it. boomerbrew (21), Texas, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle, bought from World Market. The aroma was mild grassy. Lacey gold color. Floral hops. unclemattie (1715), Georgia, USA Sep 23, 2008
short 12oz twist-off bottle. golden pour, white head. Aroma of honey lemon tea. Clean malt, floral hops. Flavor is of tortilla chips. Almost overly refreshing. I could kill hundreds of these. A wonderful summer time beverage. Corn chips, fried green plantains, light barley, floral hops. 4,3,5,3,13
