3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ansermadide (1229) - Kyle, Texas, USA - JUN 16, 2012Homefront has a light-golden orange color with an off-white head... it looks very thin. The aroma is thick, sticky, and biscuity with sweet, citrusy hops. Its flavor is bitter and its body thin. Its light but biscuity malt base feels just shy of properly supporting its bitter bite. It sports a slightly oxidized-esque hop character that leaves a dryness on the tongue. Overall, it’s thin, under-the-tongue sweet, and ticklingly bitter for only 50 IBUs.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 crossovert (4772) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 28, 2013
A cluttered ipa, some malt but mostly citrusy, no wood flavor form the apparent aging.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 blankboy (5191) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 29, 2013
My bottle [660ml] shared with HogTownHarry, jerc & mabel. Pours a deep gold with an average size semi-lasting frothy white head. Aroma of malt and hops equally, quite resiny and floral. Flavour, which I like slightly more then the aroma, is nice and hoppy, fruity and citrusy. Average bitter finish. Average bodied. Pretty good.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 joeneugs (2176) - Livermore, California, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Small sample from a 22 oz. bottle. It pours a light gold color with a white head. The aroma has some stale grains, caramel and some light pine. Definitely seems like an old bottle. The flavor has some tangerine notes, pine and very light maltiness. The body is light and refreshing on the palate. The hops have been muted by age, but I imagine this wasn’t a very hoppy IPA to begin with.

2012-01-18. Crisp dark yellow orange body, off white head. 3+ Modest hoppy aroma is lightly grassy, interesting melange of fruit and hops, lightly floral. Flavour is similar, lightly grassy fruity hops, modest bitterness throughout. Interesting hop character. Smooth average bodied palate, relatively carbonated. 3+ Enjoyable, different hop character. Bottle thanks to t0rin0...maybe? Pours with a clear golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are minty, lots of caramel, floral, citrusy, seems like centennial hops, lightly woody, oak?, tangerine, grassy. Flavors are of tangerines, spicy, floral, pine, resin. Medium malt, grassy finish, medium carbonation.

Bottle from trade with Crajun. Pours a clear golden orange color with a small head that quickly fades. Faint aroma of orange and lemon citrus with some malt too. Taste is crisp and enjoyable. Fresh citrus taste, moderate bitterness, dry spicy finish. A slightly above average IPA.
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 wchesser (706) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 25, 2012
From a trade with Errl! Thanks, Chris! Thought this would be pretty good but this really exceeded expectations. Huge fruity Juicy Fruit nose that faded to honey and floral hops but keep nice fruity notes. Clear, medium to full bodied light orange gold. Incredibly balanced flavors, not bitter, not malty sweet, just right. One of the best IPAs I’ve had all year.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DANEgerous (66) - Texas, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Aroma: Pine, Toast and notes of earthy clay or multch
Appearance: Light orange with gold tinges.
Taste: Clean somewhat acidic with notes of pine and cardamom, far less hops than most IPAs
Palate: Clan and crisp, mild body
Overlarge: Nice a more malt based IPA

I got this in the bottle from Goody Goody in Addison, TX. Big citrus aromas, sweet malty flavor with a nice hoppy finish.

Great ipa aroma, hoppy and danky. Good apperance. The taste starts off danky, like a lagunitas, and finishes hoppy citrus. The aftertaste is of dry hops. A good, refreshing ipa for a great cause.
