2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz. bottle from a 4’er served in a tumbler- the first thing that poppped in my head when I say the hypers proclaim this as the greatest thing since sliced bread is,"Fuck me, another BETA-TEST beer". Poured a transparent very light copper color, zero carbonation, no head. Aroma of hard water and (swirl... swirl... swirl for the final time) an extremely faint note of pine. Hits the mouth with a light-medium body, malt had a treatment of caramel to it, some yeast in the middle, finish is like water. Well, I’ll be damned, I can’t complain about it because it didn’t finish at all. Great job Texahhtuckys, now make some fucking beer, would ya?

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Closer to a pale lager, however with some yeast and slight spice character. No smell or colour and so-so drinkability.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20

Very light haze on this amber beer, little off white head. Light minerally palate, semi dry. A little sweet malt. Mild minerals. Insipid hops, barely there! Light sweet esters. Semi dry finish. Muted and dull.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Big thanks to Sammy for this one. Pours reddish brown with fizzy head and no lasting lacing. Fairly low carbonation. Taste is boozy and a little too sugary. Smell has some florals. Finish is boozy bitter and slightly sours as the taste progresses. Oily texture. Decent but could do with a little more integration.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Amber, thin frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Faint caramel malt like nose.   Moderate sweetness up front, pale breadiness.   Not sure what about this is Belgian.   Does have a very faint
mustiness to it.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   As it warms a bit more of the musty Belgian profile comes out.   Minor hop, still with a soft bready background.   Lingering caramal and faint mustiness.   Not
bad, not as Belgian like as I would have liked tho.   Thanks for the bottle Bill!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared at CPK in London. Thanks to Bruce. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Plenty of doughy bread here, strong Belgian yeast, candi sugar. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, simple bready malts, toffee, yeast. Simple, pretty tasty.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber with small white head. Esters, phenols, along with American hops. Clean, crisp, clear, smooth finish. Delicious for what it is. I was surprised that I liked this as I’m not a fan of Belgian ale. Apparently I do like the bastardized Belgian Pale ale variety. Not as good as Stone’s Cali-Belgique, obviously, but not bad for Saint Arnold!
