COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Brown Porter is a dark, silky medium bodied ale with rich chocolate malt notes. We used English malt and hops and our Saint Arnold yeast that came from a brewery in England. This beer pours a dark brown color with ruby/garnet highlights and an off white to light tan head. The aroma is predominantly chocolate. Overall, our Brown Porter is a very sessionable, medium bodied beer with lots of chocolate and roast flavor.

Kind of weak in my opinion. I wish it was thicker and creamier. Noticeable chocolate flavors.

Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 London Grand Tasting - Moncada Brewery. Pours clear brown with a creamy, beige head. Lots of toasted bread character with accents of cheap cocoa. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet on the finish with mild earthy bitterness and further chocolate malt notes. Fair.

Bottle thanks to Colin at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. It pours clear mahogany brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasted malt, cocoa, coffee cake, mild smoke and earth. The taste is toasty, coffee, caramel, light smoke, caramel, cola and brown sugar with a dry, sweetish finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. I’m not sold on it. A bit simple and sweet.
