Appearance: clear amber orange, with half a finger of foamy, near white head and minimal lacing. Aroma: caramel malts, light toffee, a hint of honey and cereal and brown toast. Taste: as the aroma indicates, plus a bit of toasted nuts and a hint of grassy hops. Finish: crisp and slightly sweet, with just a bit of caramel and nuts and grass. Notes: Enjoyable Okto. Good palate, flavor was balanced, body was good. Solid all-around example. Bottle from Buddy’s (Drive-Thru!) Beer Barn in El Paso, Texas.

Had not rated this in the past for some reason. Today I am doing a comparison of several Oktoberfests from various brewers and this one is among them. So far it is par with other Oktoberfest brews. So for an Oktoberfest it is a good one for the style.

From bottle. Nice autumnal orange color. No head or lacing. Nose is underwhelming--water and some malt. Good carbonation. Excellent flavor sweet in the beginning and bitter in the finish. Probably my favorite Oktoberfest.

What can I say about the Saint Arnold Oktoberfest? They just get better every year, need to enjoy it off tap and have some sauerkraut and bratwurst with it.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a clear amber, not much head. Nose is faint malt. Taste is watery malt, with a slight caramel note. Not a lot here. Nothing great, just very average.

Nice, amber cereal malty aroma. Potato masher style bottle, twistoff. Pretty good label. Intense, rusty orange-brown, thinnish white head. Sweet, toasted, light caramel, slightly tinny, very lightly astringent, some grassy notes - anything that sounds iffy in that flavor description was not. Very nice. Woody finish, not all that bitter. Good tailgate beer. Next time, this is going on braised cabbage, though. Market Square Liquors.

Pours a copper color with thin head. Clear. Aroma is malty, slight caramel, roasted. Grass, a bit of crisp hop presence. Smells decent. Taste is nice, starts with toast, a faint sweetness, some yeast, pepper and transitions to notes of crisp, clean hops. A bit thin. Overall, a decent local beer.

Copper pour, faint malt aroma. Molasses and malty sugars. Taste a little water on the start. Not bad at all just nothing stands out
