Bottle. Murky amber with attractive red highlights. Rich malt body with slight accents of cherry and raspberry. Flavour begins and ends with a full malt character, plus nuances of fruit and hot spice. Fairly nice.

Drinking from bottle, so hard to rate appearance. Quite sweet smell and likewise taste, bit too sweet. (Houston 201408)

Pours a copper color with white head. Caramel malts and some grain on the nose; follows onto the palate. Not much else to speak of, not a good example of the style.

Slightly above average brew. I got this at Oktoberfest in Galveston. Poured a hazy amber and remained a fairly standard marzen-style beer. Caramel, grains, and wheat. Good, but not memorable.

Pretty standard stuff and sticks to the profile. Malty aroma with some wheat tones. Brown/orange color that simply looks like autumn with a white head. Average weight with above average carbonation. Malt up front with a little hops in the back. Graininess as well. Well rounded beer but not that unique to make it stand out.

Copper orange with thin off-white head. Caramel, mild orange, and light hop notes. Medium bodied, syrupy, caramel and toasted malt notes. Decent balance, sweet malt and light bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured a clear copper hue w/ thin fully disapatting head. Medium aromas of caramel malts. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light sour finish. Tastes are toast, malt, and alcohol. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel, and a dry finish.

Pours autumn maple brown with an off-white yellow head. Smells a bit like autumn and caramel. Taste is sweet, caramel, and maple. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Saint Arnold Oktoberfest finishes with a lingering sweetness.

A decent marzen base a little bitter for the style. Good sweet malt though overall surprising a texas beer got this classic german style as close as they did.

Pours a clear amber-golden color with a short antique white head. Red apple nose. Wet, smooth, and finely stinging mouthfeel. Toasted malt, red apple, and a bit of tartness.

One of my favorite beers! I normally buy 2 cases off the bat just to have and savor. Better then most seasonal way better then Sam Adams for sure. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
