daknole (2143), Plantation, Florida, USA Jul 1, 2009 Botle. Yellow pour. LIght white head. Hoppy nose with caramel malt and some toothpick aroma. Flavor is crisp and clean, with lemony notes and some smooth hops. mmmbeer (672), Austin, Texas, USA Jun 25, 2009 I’ve had this beer plenty of times according to all the empty 6’ers I’ve been saving, but now it’s time for an honest review! 12 oz. bottle served in flute- poured transparent clean golden yellow, low-medium carbonation, thin whisps atop the liquid surface for a head. Aroma of grass and Czech hops. Hits the mouth with a thin body, malt is detectable and pleasant, middle holds up fine, finish has a very mild acidity from the hops and is very crisp. Clean, refreshing brew- perfect after some physical labor on a hotter than hell day and a BBQ with friends. Only 199,952 more empty 6 packs for the Bentley- woohoo!!! dalek123 (35), Houston, Texas, USA Jun 18, 2009 Pours pale gold with a thin head that disappears pretty quickly. Lots or carbonation, bubbling throughout. Taste has a nice bitterness then goes down smooth. Great summer drinking. Butters (1278), Not-so-Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jun 16, 2009 Sampled with the guys courtesy of ScottyP from his trip to Austin. Clearish yellow pour. Corn, saaz, grass. Decent for style, with a slight lingering bitterness. Cool tye dye label. bhensonb (3757), Woodland, California, USA Jun 4, 2009 Bottle from ericandersnavy. Thanks man! Light gold color with a frothy white head. Aromas of grain and grass. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is lots of grass over pale malt. Crisp. Tasty. Better than most pilsners. Let alone pilseners. Not a German thing. Bohemian. Really good, considering it’s a lager! ScottyP (140), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA May 24, 2009 Pours a clear light golden color. Aroma of hops, corn, grass, slight maltiness. Taste similar. Lingering grassy hop finish. Not bad. Kenbeer30 (41), Texas, USA May 18, 2009 Not sure why the crowns on Ratebeer are ranking in mid 2’s? Ranking this beer against it’s peers in the Summer Pils Lager category, I think this stands up very nicely. Pours straw yellow with grassy malted nose. Taste is strong pilsner, without the skunking of a Heineken. Very refreshing, light, sessionable. (But I was just done with mowing the lawn - Perhaps that is why it tasted so good.) angrypirate06 (351), Texas, USA May 1, 2009 Bottle. Clear gold, small fizzy head. Aroma of corn, grain, skunk. Flavor of corn, grain and light skunk/grass.
