COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true bohemian-style pilsner. Crisp and refreshing, this beer is perfect for a hot summer day. Saint Arnold Summer Pils has a delicate, sweet malt taste complemented by an abundant hop aroma and flavor. This beer is brewed with fine German malt, and a copious quantity of "noble" hops imported from the Czech Republic. Saint Arnold Summer Pils is best consumed at 36° Fahrenheit

Light straw in color flavorful crisp and a little bready. Very refreshing and far better than standard lite lawn mower beers.

Pours a clear golden color with carbonation coming up from the bottom of the glass. A small 1/2 finger head that didn’t last. Smells of light malt and mild hops. The hops taste earthy - herbal and floral. Light pilsner body. Light malts. Slightly dry finish. An affordable and sessionable pilsner

4/18/2012. From bottle. Pale yellow with a white head. Aromas of hops, malt, corn, grains and grass. Medium carbonation with hoppy flavors. Not bad on a warm day.

Location: Draft at a California Pizza Kitchen, 8/7/13

Aroma: Clean pilsener malt nose with some grassy hop and some fruity notes
Appearance: It pours a clear gold with a lasting white head and some fairly heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is light sweet and light-medium bitter, with a nice, clean flavor
Palate: It has a crisp and clean, true to style feel, with average carbonation, and a dryish finish
Overall Impression: Quite a nice Pils actually. One of the more impressive St Arnold beers I’ve tried. After having a bunch of their other beers I’m glad I finally found one that is above average in its style.

Bottle, many thanks to Radimd.
Golden orange color with minimal white head. Malty, yeasty aroma with notes of lemon. Taste, malt, grassy hops, lemon. Light bitterness in fruity finish. Refreshing beer.

Pretty good looking, clear and tan with rising bubbles and a good white head that left some sheets of lacing. Aroma is a bit grainy, with some sweetness, a little citrus, a little corn. Flavor profile is pretty similar, but with a touch more corn. There’s not a lot of bitterness and not a lot of hops. The body is light and easy to drink, with the right amount of carbonation. Overall it’s refreshing and summery, a fine summer beer.

Nicely balanced refreshing thirst-quencher. Enjoyed while street shopping at 102F, this beer did it’s job well.

Crystal clear light straw pour with decent pure white head. Bready and light yeast aroma. Flavor profile is pretty traditional but a bit more bready. Perhaps brewed with a significant portion of wheat. ---Rated via iPhone

12oz bottle served in Spiegelau Pilsner Glass. The aroma is delicate, spicy and herbal with a cracker-like malt backing. A seemingly clean fermentation. Straw colored, brilliant clarity, smallish bone white colored head that dies down after a minute or two. Sweet bready and cracker malt balanced with a delicate spicy and floral hop character. The balanced character persists into the finish, although there is a touch too much residual sweetness. This is so much more balanced and approachable than the Hans Pils I had before(German Pils vs. BoPils) and this was the beer I preferred while lounging in the pool under the hot Texas sun. This is a nice BoPils. Rating to style.

Tap at the Ginger Man, Heuston, 21/05/13. Clear pale blonde with a thin white head. Nose is grain, cereals, light citrus, pale malt. Taste comprises sugars, grass, lemon, pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonaiton, crisp finish. An adequate if uninspiring pils, refreshing on a hot Texan day!
