Commercial Description:
A true bohemian-style pilsner. Crisp and refreshing, this beer is perfect for a hot summer day. Saint Arnold Summer Pils has a delicate, sweet malt taste complemented by an abundant hop aroma and flavor. This beer is brewed with fine German malt, and a copious quantity of "noble" hops imported from the Czech Republic. Saint Arnold Summer Pils is best consumed at 36° Fahrenheit

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with blutt59. Pours a mostly clear urine yellow with a fizzy white head that evaporated within the first two sips and left no lace. After several deep inhales, I have concluded that this beer is devoid of any aroma. After several sips of this beer, I have come to virtually the same conclusion about the flavor. There is some very weak corn and grain flavor up front and that’s about it. No hops bitterness at all. Thin watery body. Its beers like this that make me rethink my rating for beers like Coors Light. If this were a BMC product, its overall score would easily be in the 1’s.

Slightly hazy gold with a thick white head. Sweet grassy aromas. Lots of carbonation. Dry, spicy, floral hops flavor with some citrusy sourness. Crisp, with a slight bitterfinish.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with light notes of honey. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of both straw and honey, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

12oz bottle courtesy of Cavie and poured into a footed pils glass. Pours fizzy clear pale yellow like a macro and smells about like one as well. Aroma is grainy malt, sweet corn, fruity apples, and a touch of hop. The flavor delivers decently, though, with big fresh pils malt flavor, a sweet middle, and a nice balancing dry finish. Mouthfeel is light and high carbonation so it goes down smoooooooth, baby.

Thanks to Rollinhard for this. pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is light sweet grains. Malt corn sweetness with a bit of hop bitterness balancing it out. Your definite lawn mower style beer and I just mowed the lawn.

One of my favorite summer styles, courtesy of Malt oMeal. Nice pour of clear gold with a frothy head. Aroma is slight, spicy and sweet. Flavor could have used a sharper hop note than is apparent here, with an almost kettle corn like sweetness keeping it from being the hot weather quaffer I love in a pils.

Clear look, golden yellow light color, and has a small white head. The smell is grains, corn, malts, and floral. The taste is light, corny, malts, and floral. Boring but not terrbile.
