Commercial Description:
A true bohemian-style pilsner. Crisp and refreshing, this beer is perfect for a hot summer day. Saint Arnold Summer Pils has a delicate, sweet malt taste complemented by an abundant hop aroma and flavor. This beer is brewed with fine German malt, and a copious quantity of "noble" hops imported from the Czech Republic. Saint Arnold Summer Pils is best consumed at 36° Fahrenheit

a sim rate: (on tap at Flying Saucer in Houston, TX) Nice flavour. Almost fruity - malty. Smells a bit like sweaty fingers. Slightly soapy flavour. Nice sweet aftertaste.

Not bad for a blandly flavored pils. A bit of a sweet finish, light aroma, light flavor. This is a lawnmower or "pass to your BMC buddies" beer. Pretty light, drinkable, but nothing exceptional.

Aroma is honey, caramel, with a bit of peach, decent aroma, but has the look of BMC. Taste is refreshing, very fruity with a slight hop background. Good for a pils.

Pours foggy yellow with tons of carbonation and no head. Aroma is lime, sugar, grassy hops. Taste is very light slight floral bitterness. Somewhat dry. Finish is clean but lacking in distinctive flavor.

Bottle courtesy of kaggie97. Pours standard golden yellow, with decent white head. Decent aroma of, earthy/grassy hop, with lemon and some mustyiness. Flavor rather bland, faint lemon and grass. Mouthfeel thin but sticky sweet in a way. Decent.

At the brewery. Pours a thin yellow. Nose of lemon, some hops and other citrus. Taste of hops, yeast and spice. Good solid pils.

12 oz bottle, thanks Legion242! Pale yellow beer, slightly hazy with a thin white head. Aroma is quite citrusy, lemon, spicy hops, a touch of diacetyl as well. Flavour shows nice malt/hop balance, moderate bitterness, and prominent spicy hops. The diacetyl is quite distracting though. Bready finish.
